Massage Tips

It may sound cliché but one of the biggest problems in my practice is that most people are “under hydrated”. Water brings air and nutrients to the muscles. Water also aids in the elimination of waste from the muscles. Some of the causes of chronic muscle aches and pains are: 1. Trauma. 2. Posture. 3. Stress. 4. Heredity. 5. Skeletal. 6. Nutritional. 7. Neural 8. Dehydration.

Divide your body weight in half and then add ten. That equation represents how many ounces of water it takes to properly hydrate your body, on a daily basis. One glass of water equals eight ounces. This may seem like a lot of water. If you are not drinking that much water on a daily basis……start with a lesser amount and work your way up. DO NOT TRY TO DO IT ALL AT ONCE, YOU WILL BE SETTING YOURSELF UP FOR FAILURE. BE GRACIOUS TO YOURSELF.
